I’ve spent the past several months working on some new projects, one of which is a retail installation for a Nokia flagship store. Can’t really say too much about it until it goes live in late December, but I can tell you that it’s been fun and insightful collaborating with HUSH and Obscura Digital on the project.

I just added the Acura Interactive Oracles to the “featured projects” section of my website. This section will give an in depth look at the design and development process of some of the projects I have created and will include a wide variety of photos, videos and writing. Enjoy.

I have had the pleasure of spending the past few weeks helping to bring to life a new website for my close friends and collaborators over at HUSH in Brooklyn, NY.
whnwlnd did a fantastic job of designing and building the new website. As always, Jason was fantastic to work with. I also helped to design and build HUSH’s Wordpress blog. So, check them both out when you get a chance. Their work is always impressive.

O.k. It’s been a long time since I updated my website. Been crazy busy working away on a variety of different projects that debuted at the 2007 Los Angeles International Auto Show, including an exhibit for the new Honda FCX Clarity, a limited production hydrogen fuel cell vehicle that made its world debut at the show. The exhibit features several physical interactives, videos, and 20-foot-wide by 10-foot-tall wall graphics.
I have begun updating my site with new projects, photos and videos. More to come.
Cheers.

I wrapped up a few more projects several weeks ago that made their debut at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. One of those projects was the Scion Mix It Up Experience. A large-scale interactive installation that engages users with the Scion brand and immerses them in the process of customization which is central to the car’s identity.
The setup consists of two 50” plasma screens – a touch screen below and a display screen above. Using the touch screen to make choices, the visitor creates a customized virtual Scion car on the display in real time – selecting model, color, wheels, body accessories, applied graphics, and even details about the environment the virtual car is in.
We put together a microsite for the project that we are still in the process of refining, but it’s definitely worth a look.

I wrapped up a few more projects several weeks ago that made their debut at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. One of those projects was the Acura Interactive Oracles. A series of tabletop based projections with a multi-user, multi-touch sensor system.
In concepting and developing the project we set ourselves three specific goals:
The first was to create a circular display system that could be approached from any angle and be used by multiple people at once. Second, the Oracles would also have to integrate a sensor system that would allow for people to use both of their hands at the same time. Third, the display system needed to be completely self-contained so that is could easily be moved from one location to another.
We put together a microsite for the project that we are still in the process of refining, but it’s definitely worth a look.

I recently completed a redesign of the micro website I put together for my thesis project: In Search of Identity. It now features installation photos, narrative photos, timeline illustrations, process and design research photos, and a higher resolution video. Enjoy.
